5 Stars Increasingly Hard to Find
This product is everything I want in a keyboard. It has a standard layout (well, plus the three extra “Windows keys”) with none of the nonsensical mucking about seen on recent “ergonomic” keyboard designs. Excellent action, shallow but firm, with relatively little noise. Simple design with (thankfully) removable wrist-rest.
I’m tempted to order two more because it’s so hard to find a proper keyboard these days.
4 Stars Above-average keyboard but not the best key action.
Keyboard’s not bad. Looks good since it harks back to the days when there weren’t all the silly multimedia keys (like volume, internet, etc). The logo also happens to be IBM which was surprising since IBM no longer sells PC’s — so the keyboard looks like the one in the picture.
I deducted one star because the keys are mushier than I’d like. Compared to the standard dell keyboards, this ibm keyboard’s keys don’t have as much of a snap to them. Additionally the keys are very quiet (as compared to the dell’s), which may contribute the the perception of mushiness.
5 Stars Good but the ‘Rohs Compliant, IBM Standard Layout, PS2 Keyboard’ is a *TRUE* IBM keyboard of yore!
As the previous reviewer said, this is an IBM classic keyboard. Kinda. Stupid “wrist-rest” is a separate piece and you can immediately dump it in trash as I did. Both ENTER keys are midnight blue not black (hard to tell from the pic). Does *NOT* work with a USB to PS/2 connector (connection must be USB). Not as heavy as a old fashioned IBM keyboard. Very quiet compared to my old DELL “Quiet Key” keyboard. My main complaint is that even with the legs/props extended in back (is 1/2 inch high in front & with extensions ~2 3/4 in back), the keyboard feels too flat to me (it’s a lot like a Compaq keyboard). The “Rohs Compliant, IBM Standard Layout, PS2 Keyboard In Black” is MUCH more like the traditional large, heavy, click-y, IBM keyboard of yore (and I sooo much prefer it).

5 Stars Good keyboard and mouse
I always cringe when I’m faced with buying a Microsoft product; however, this keyboard and mouse are excellent and priced right.
5 Stars Breif Review
The Microsoft Business Hardware Pack is an excellent value for a keyboard and mouse set. A month ago I ordered 4 units for my small business. They’ve worked without any problems on our Macs. The software seems to function well and allows for all the additional keys and mouse buttons to be properly configured. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a keyboard and mouse set, including home users.
Keyboard Highlights:
– Ample multifunction keys
– Shock absorbing keys that are comfortable to use for extended periods of time
– Log Off, Sleep, and sound control keys
– “F Lock” key keeps it’s state after rebooting
Mouse Highlights:
– Four buttons, five including wheel click
– Improved optics over older models (it doesn’t dim when not in use, reducing lag)
– Comfortable size for any user and any hand
Pros:
– Inexpensive
– Good quality, software (Mac) and hardware
– Simple and functional design
– No batteries to replace or fail
Cons:
– None
5 Stars Nice mouse
Better than the last microsoft mouse I bought. The third and fourth button take some getting used to. Clicked a couple times accidently when grabbing mouse to move it. Improved glides, very smooth.
5 Stars Excelent
